You knew your friend was in trouble, but you didn’t realize how much until you got to their house.

It was a wreck, everything was overturned, the mattress had been slashed, and pillow stuffing covered the floor. Open books were everywhere, having been discarded as soon as they were opened and the drawers from his cupboard had been removed and their contents dumped in a hurry.

Knowing that your friend was good at codes, you headed to his desk. Around the bottom of his desk you find hundreds of little circuits, schematics, diagrams and wires. Evidently whoever tossed the place didn’t know what they should be looking for. You carefully study each of the diagrams looking intently for clues or something out of place.

It’s then that you spot, one crumpled and ripped in the struggle, with powermachine scrawled hastily on the back. Teasing it from the other detritus, you examine what you have. An unusual circuit diagram and another roll of paper with 1’s and 0’s leading right up to where the page is torn! You hope that there’s enough of the message there to figure out what your friend wanted to tell you. You search around looking for the rest, hoping against hope that you’ll find it. Whilst you’re searching, you hear police sirens approaching. You need to get out, now, if you want to have a chance of figuring out what happened to your friend! With only the circuit diagram and the bits below, can you follow the path and maybe get yourself some schwag in the process?
