HackFu Challenge 2012

HackFu is an MWR-sponsored event in the UK filled with challenges, hacking, scripting, tinkering, lock picking, crypto challenges, thinking outside the box, lots of learning and exposure to a team of some of the world’s best security researchers and penetration testers from MWR Labs

If you have a keen interest in information security and are interested in pursuing an exciting career in this field as a researcher, penetration tester and consultant, this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for.

MWR will be sponsoring up to 10 places to the annual HackFu event hosted at a secret location in the UK at the end of June (see Competition Rules for eligibility).

Successful candidates will join teams pitted against each other, solving challenges. Previous events were held in an old Nuclear Bunker under the Essex country side with a cold war theme or teams were cast as pirates battling for Hacker Island.

HackFu 2012’s theme is “EarthDate: 2139”.

All you need to do is enter the competition by submitting your solutions to the following challenges by latest midnight 31st May 2012.
